ABOUT US

The Student Osteopathic Medical Association (SOMA) is the largest osteopathic student organization in the nation. Run on a national level by volunteer student leaders, SOMA acts as the voice of osteopathic medical students on issues that affect our medical education, our future careers, and the care of our future patients.

Pre-Student Osteopathic Medical Association at UCLA (Pre-SOMA at UCLA) is a local undergraduate chapter of the national SOMA organization. The club was founded in 2019, and continues to grow as an outlet for students who aspire to become the kind of caring, compassionate, and competent physicians that epitomize osteopathic medicine.Whether you're a pre-med student, or just looking to learn more about pathways into medicine, Pre-SOMA at UCLA is here to help you every step of the way.
